This is another good one. If you don't have the foresight to calculate how many students it takes to fill a cafeteria, times how long it takes to eat, and realize that you're gonna have to serve lunch all hours of the school day, then you deserve to be in this situation. Have an AP Calculus teacher help you out with this one.

Or maybe use some creative thinking. Open up a seperate eating area. Allow students to eat outside. Do something different so that kids aren't forced to eat lunch at 9am! I guarantee there are students grabbing their lunches and then heading right to the bus to go home. Those lunch ladies must driving themselves into the ground working around the clock the to make sure they keep the churros stocked.

National Anthem Controversy Creates Trouble for Kansas High School

The principal believes it's "disrespectful to those who fought and died" to change some of the lyrics. Well, I believe one of the reasons people fought for our country was to give us certain freedoms that we did not have before. Freedom, for example, of Speech.

But let's not take this too seriously. All it is was a bunch of kids cheering for their basketball team, and now the school managed to make a big deal out of it. Of course they did, it doesn't surprise me. Unless the Principal is some old war vet who stormed the beaches, just let your students show a little school spirit.

The principal is worried that this will start a trend where every student dyes their hair blue. She is probably right. Of all the high school fads people go through, I do remember blue hair being the one that catches on like wild fire. It becomes a complete distraction and NO ONE is able to concentrate in class. It's a good thing they stopped this trouble-maker before it went too far. This principal should be awarded.

School board will consider single-sex institutions

A boys school and a girls school? That sounds fine. Most youth going through puberty don't need real-life experiences to help better understand the other sex. I'm sure they will develop just fine having absolutely no contact with the other gender between the ages of 11-14. Adjusting to high school will be a cake-walk for them.

2 gyms and 4 rooms? Sounds like this kind of damage might take a little time to repair. Never saw this one coming though. Who knew it snows in the winter? Someone had to have seen a leak or heard a crack over the years. The good news is the 6th graders have been moved to an elementary school...where they can get away from 8th grade bullies for a while.

You'd be shocked to hear how many kids get hit by cars crossing the road from school. Then again I'm not sure of the actual statistics. But how many of these accidents are caused by cell phones and not just negligant drivers?
