For the record, it's not illegal to pose as someone else on the internet. However, when "12 year old girls" start making overly graphic sexual comments, it tends to send a few red flags up. That is how you get caught. I just wanted to make this clear because I know there are millions of us who live in fantasy worlds where we pretend we are preteen girls.

This is certainly one of the more pressing issues in education, at least in Mississippi. If you take a look at the minutes from the latest school board meeting, the topic of foot attire dominated the floor. Why should we expect our teachers to be comfortable? Hopefully in the future, they can get around to discussing curriculum adjustments, budget allotment, and graduation rates.

This guy was holding poker tournaments at his house and now he's facing criminal charges. The police lieutenant says, "A dispute or a fight could take place. Someone could wind up getting hurt or murdered inside (the) residence." This sounds exactly like the Texas Hold 'Em matches I've played in. I would say this is worth jeopardizing his career over. It's not like he was caught placing bets on students test scores.

I guess we're still not teaching tolerance in some schools yet. Yes, the girl was punished, but she most likely would have gotten the same consequences had she cut anyones hair. Get ready for rallies, because they're on their way. And rightfully so because the story doesn't mention that attacks like this have been going on at this school since Sept. 11, 2001.

Here are the facts: 149 out of 150 parents signed a permission slip to have the book taught. Oh, and here's a little irony for you- the book is in the schools library!

You have schools that lock out people from getting into the graduation, but somehow a guy in a huge penis outfit gets through security at this one. It was later rumored he was chasing after a girl dressed as a big vagina, but they found her in the bathroom crying about something.

One yearbook editor's idea of humor is changing the names of the students in the Black Union to fake, borderline derogatory "ghetto" names." Don't schools have advisor's who should be overlooking anything before it goes into print? At a school that is less than 5% black, these aren't the kind of jokes that are going to be forgotten.

So instead she went with Plan B, an offensive shirt that the girl really doesn't understand, but will be criticized and punished for.
