NY teen charged in second plot on his old high school
Smells Like: New York , violenceNY teen, Christopher Franko, didn't learn the first time the consequences of plotting an attack against his high school. In addition to the consequences, he was thankfully unsuccessful. The second time he was just as unsuccessful, but drew another plotter, Dana Saltzman, in on the trouble. They planned to shoot the school guards, then as many students as possible, then police, then themselves. They were arrested with no bail and face heavy jail time.

Queens High School Reunion Becomes Deadly

A group of twenty-somethings gathered for a private junior high school reunion party when the invitation went viral, spreading across the internet. The party began to spiral out of control as more and more people showed up--to the point where it became more like a block party than a reunion. It, especially, went downhill when one party crasher picked a fight with an invited member that turned into open fire on the guests. Six people got injured and one died. The man, still not found by the police, had an undisclosed issue with one of the invited guests.
Could the internet as a social agent be the blame for this, or was violence between the two party goers inevitable?

Student Hits Bus Driver in The Face

On the last day of Centennial High School, an unidentified student punched his bus driver in the face and then ran off the bus. The driver ended up hospitalized with a possible broken nose. Eye witnesses say no one, including the bus driver, provoked him to do it. But the police have the student's address and are attempting to contact him.

Among a long list of problems with allowing paddling in schools, is that the whacking comes at the discretion of the staff. In this case, a 90-pound boy was sent home with a black and blue ass because "...if he was tough enough to talk back to the teachers, then he was tough enough to take the swats." During an investigation, it was learned that the paddle used has students names etched in it! Now, does this sound like the responsible discipline of a principal, or someone who proudly displays his acts of violence much like a trophy case?

A stunned audience of fourth graders sat back and watched as their teacher cleared space in the middle of the classroom to allow two students to knuckle-up and have at each other. Oh, and the teachers aide must have been the color commentator, because he was in the room for the whole thing. I'm wondering if this school let Mike Tyson teach their discipline training courses?

While breaking up a cat fight between some cheerleaders, the coach may or may not have referred to the girls as either hoodlum or hood rats. Her disciplinary action is awaiting the a verdict of which term was used. It's a shame some schools banned dictionaries, otherwise we could look up the difference between the two.

After learning that his wife was having an affair with some 'bad boy' who steals cars, he reacted like anyone who can't think clearly...by following her to a WalMart parking lot and shooting the boyfriend in the head. The wife is also a teacher, but somthing tells me she won't be in the classroom anytime soon. Oh, she'll probably think twice about cheating again too.
