Since the girl was 18, a criminal investigation never took place. I'm not sure if that helped clear the mans conscience though. After all, he was having sex with a student, who happened to be special needs, and it resulted in a future mom-to-be. Story: Why Are 1 Of 8 Girls Pregnant At Robeson High?

1 out of 8 translates to 115 pregnant teens at this school. Either the girls in this town are sex-crazed, or the boys can't miss. And then you gotta crunch some numbers and wonder how many of the 115 are from the same guy. It might be time for this principal to look into some type of grant to receive a cargo of free condoms. Either way, I think we all need to thank Jamie Lynn Spears for making teen pregnancy cool again.

A good rule of thumb is that anytime a parent/teacher conference ends with a pregnant mom punching a teacher in the side of the head, you can usually bet some follow-up communication needs to occur. Students all took home goodie bags at school health fair. To the surprise of dozens of teens, they got condoms (complete with directions) included. In a completely unrelated story, teen sex increased by about 25% after that day. However, teens practicing safe sex increased by about 100%. Who would have thought? The school also apologized for passing out mini bottles of vodka, assuming the 7th graders would wait until they were 21 to drink it.

Not really sure what business of his it is if she was pregnant, but maybe that's just how he gets his rocks off. Well, she was NOT pregnant, just publically humiliated by school officials. It took the town to be in uproar, seventeen girls getting pregnant at once, and the principal quitting until this district finally submitted to the fact that teens sex is rampant at this school. Giving kids rubbers will hopefully but a blanket on things for a while, but my guess says when the STD statistics get reported, it's not gonna shock too many people.

It's a good thing that "sex education" is a hot-button in the current presidential campaign. I know we can't expect school nurses to differentiate between the stomach flu and being 9-months pregnant, but maybe next time we can give everyone involved the proper training to avoid girls from throwing out their babies. Luckily, she didn't flush it down a toilet like the Texas girl. But in the future, maybe the school can MapQuest the nearest hospital for these teen girls.

After realizing that neither the superintendent nor town mayor supported him, it only made sense to leave the position. He still believes, as does the rest of the world (except for the town of Gloucester who is afraid to damage their image), that it is NO COINCIDENCE that 17 girls got pregnant at once. Rather than learn from this, the school would rather move on and pretend this sort of thing happens all the time. But if there's anyone in the area needing some part-time cash, there will be 17 babysitting jobs opening up in about 4-5 years.

Birth leave sought for girls

I'm just saying, I know 30-year olds that go back to graduate high school.

I'm not suggesting that these student be "punished" and "forced" back to school the next day, but it is what it is. High School is not going anywhere.

Maybe Denver should try and work on the fact that over 50 girls (out of 1000) get pregnant before the age of 17. Maybe there's something else we're missing about their school system.

High School is not going anywhere.<br /><br />Maybe Denver should try and work on the fact that over 50 girls (out of 1000) get pregnant before the age of 17. Maybe there's something else we're missing about their school system.
